Graduation Photos at Stetson University

Professional portraits are an amazing way to celebrate any exciting and special time in your life. It’s easy for memories to slip out of our consciousness as we get caught up in the stress and hecticness of everyday life with our careers, homes, families, and hobbies. No matter how many years pass, looking at pictures can transport you back to a special time in your life and let you bask in the memories as if they happened yesterday.

That’s why we were so excited to hear from Rachel, an emerging graduate at Stetson University, who wanted a senior photo session to commemorate her college graduation. We don’t have the privilege of photographing college graduations often but it’s a spectacular accomplishment and we’re thrilled that we were able to celebrate Rachel’s success with a photo session.

Naturally, we took Rachel’s graduation portraits on the gorgeous Stetson University campus in DeLand. The campus is not only the perfect place to capture all the memories Rachel has throughout these grounds, but it’s also incredibly picturesque so we had no shortage of beautiful backgrounds to choose from. The palm tree-lined paths alone were an absolute dream.

For the ultimate walk down memory lane in the future, we made sure to photograph Rachel in the areas of campus that meant the most to her throughout her years at the university. Because she’s a Zeta Tau Alpha sister, we had to get a portrait in front of the ZTA house, and we couldn’t forget about Sage Hall Science Center where Rachel spent so much of her time.

Some of my favorite graduation portraits of Rachel, though, are those with a bit more of a dramatic and artistic flair. She looks like a vision in front of the Stetson fountain, and the photos of Rachel reflected in the campus buildings’ glass turned out to be stunning.
