Dr. Jill and Dr. Don have been our eye doctors for years, we have been friends and have done lots of photo shoots with them and beautiful Isabelle (see one of her here.) We can’t wait to do more family shoots when their baby boy arrives! Isabelle is going to be an amazing big sister xo
We are so lucky to have amazing clients that turn into friends and call us year after year to photograph their family. It’s so fun to watch these boys grow! Describe your wedding day style in one sentence: I wanted my wedding to be simple & clean. Wedding day color scheme: Black & Ivory with a touch of red & gold. Describe your wedding planning process: Very organized, yet a little stressful.
What advice would you give to future brides for their wedding day? Try & relax as much as you can. once the day comes nothing else matters except love! Anything you would have done differently? Nothing! everything was perfect! Most memorable moment during the planning process: Being able to plan something so special with the person i love more than anything. What are you most looking forward to as a married couple? Learning more & more about each other each day & loving each other more and more each day. Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos? CANDIDS!!
What was your wedding inspiration? Simple & Elegant! Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them. My favorite detail was my table numbers & name cards! I wanted to include something disney & they were absolutely perfect!
In our business we get to meet the most amazing families and were really happy to meet Emma’s. She wanted photos of her Orlando family reunion celebrating her parents 50th wedding anniversary! They were great to hang out with as they shared stories and showed that family accepts you for who you are, who would do anything for you and who love you no matter what.

The Mbasu-Platt-Sykes family was thankful for the opportunity to spend summer 2016 together. The family, split between Kenya and the United States, came together on the campus of Rollins College in Winter Park.
