Abdelle and Christ-Roi met in a place which is filled with despair for many and hence its nickname – The Graveyard – on the fourth floor of Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Abdelle was the confused medical student running around and Christ-Roi was the overworked intern. She is from Trinidad and he is from Haiti and now both doctors live in Ohio. I love it when our couples show up with DIY props for their engagement shoot. Kelly and Erik made huge initials and date-of-the-wedding signs. Cut out numbers banner. Brought Tiger their dog. They were up for anything and SO sweet together. Her smile lit up the whole Boardwalk and his eyes were always on her. Congratulations Kelly and Erik! We can’t wait for your wedding…

We met Kasey and Tanner at the last minute – unforeseen circumstances left them looking for a wedding photographer on the only weekend we had open. It was meant to be. Courtney and I loved their laid back style, their love of music and their love for each other. The wedding was a perfect setting for this musician groom and his beautiful bride – Hard Rock Live
Everything was stunning: The lighting, music, food, atmosphere. They got ready in the artists dressing rooms, we took photos in the John Lennon room and in The Attic of rock ‘n roll treasures. The cake was a masterpiece with a Ferris wheel on top because Tanner proposed to Kasey on a one. Their guests had their photos taken in front of a step and repeat background, there was a red carpet and velvet ropes. There was fun, laughter and lots and lots of love in the room. Love to you Kasey and Tanner – may your lives always be filled with music.

When we met with Stacey and Tony to talk about their wedding photography, they told us that they were so close – they felt like “an old married couple” already. Since they are both artists we really wanted to do something themed and artistic for their engagement shoot. Tony said, “we should just be sitting on a porch in our rocking chairs…” and their vintage theme was born. Thanks to Debra of Atmosphere’s Floral and Decor, stylist Pam Lawn, prop stylist Pam Reese and Stacey and Tony for wonderful wardrobe and make up – this was a dream team photo shoot! We had a really fun day shooting at beautiful Mead Gardens in Winter Park.

We liked Mandy and Roger right away – a very fun, loving and very steamy couple. (See their Engagment Session here.) Their wedding was stunning in romantic Spanish decor at Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant. The ceremony was so sweet, they were surrounded by loving family – including Roger’s two sons (just as handsome as their Dad…) and wrote their own vows. My favorite part was when Roger said, reading from his notes then looking deep into Mandy’s eyes, “I want to have babies with you…TONIGHT!”
