Lara and I have been dear friends for many years. I was so happy for her when she met and fell in love with Tom, became engaged, and so happy when she asked us to photograph her beautiful Courtyard at Lake Lucerne wedding! Here are a few of our favorites from that wonderful day… Thank you Lara and Tom! We love you both <3
We were lucky enough to shoot Yvonne and Eric’s engagement session twice. Once in Florida and again in their neck of the woods – New York City. We met in Battery Park at the Irish Hunger Memorial across the street from the World Trade Center and we had SO much fun with them – they are sweet and loving with each other and so funny, always cutting up. I asked them to be serious for a minute so I could get a more romantic shot and they looked at each other and laughed. They said, “I don’t think we can do that…” Stay tuned for Part 2 of their engagement shoot at Leu Gardens. We cant wait for their amazing Disney Cruise Wedding! Woot! Only 52 more days…
She says: “He is an amazing person with a loving heart. I am truly honored to be his best friend, and his future wife.” He says: “She is the most wonderful person in the world and my best friend.” We love them <3

Very excited to have been invited to the Photography and Fashion … Snap! Orlando and Neiman Marcus Event! My favorite things were there – beautiful fashion, champagne and fabulous art. There was a photography exhibit from one of my most favorite people in the world – talented fine art photographer Paris Carter. Her black and white self portraits are amazing. Also a presenting sponsor was my talented friend, photographer Gian Carlo Brand and whose beautiful work was also on display.

We met Elise and Ryan through Jennifer at Just Marry. Lucky us – they were fun and so excited about their engagement and wedding photos. Being big Disney fans, their wedding was at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort and had a very special guest – DONALD DUCK! A total surprise to everyone, the guests all laughed and had a great time dancing and getting their photos taken with him. So many wonderful friends and beloved family were there – we were honored to be a a part of it.
From Elise: “LOVE these pictures! There was actually a couple of moments that were our favorite parts of the wedding. I loved seeing the look on Ryan’s face when he saw me for the first time! I’m also so glad/relieved the rain held off and we could have the ceremony outside. It was actually beautiful outside! And we both loved when Donald made his grand entrance at the reception. Especially because nobody was expecting it! It all just worked out so perfectly! One unique thing that sticks out in my mind was when we were all lined up waiting to walk outside and a bunch of kids thought I was an actual Disney princess! They wanted pictures with me and everything! That’s the ultimate compliment! I never, ever expected people to stop what they were doing and take pictures of my wedding from the bridge! It made everything so special!”
Thank you Elise and Ryan, after spending time with you we know that wishes do come true.
When Orlando Wedding Magazine asked us if we would be interested in being a part of their Dream Wedding Contest with The Mission Inn Resort we were thrilled. The idea was for couples to submit a video showing why they would love to get married at the beautiful Mission Inn Resort and win the wedding of their dreams sponsored by some of the best of the best wedding pros in Central Florida.
Jamy and Maria met in law school in Tallahassee, Florida. Six months later, they started dating, and about two years after that, they got engaged. Since then, they graduated from law school, passed the bar, and realized that they would never be able to afford a “real” wedding while paying off student loan debt. Just before they had resigned themselves to a wedding at city hall, Maria found the Dream Wedding contest. They spent a lot of time making their adorable video (see it here) and they won!
After announcing that Maria and Jamy won, Orlando Wedding needed some photos for the promotion – immediately! It was a little difficult with our schedules and with them living in Tallahassee. Courtney and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary at our favorite place in St. Augustine and made a last minute decision to meet Maria and Jamy there and do an engagement shoot! We became fast friends and had so much fun at their photo shoot (see it here) and see Maria’s Dad’s fun video of it here)
Their lights and lanterns themed reception was not dimmed one bit by their rainy day ceremony. I loved that Maria and Jamy laughed away the raindrops, handed out some umbrellas and beautiful light shone through the clouds for the rest of the day. There were lit up constellation table markers, flipbook making and, since Maria works with the Disney Aladdin characters, her prince had an Aladdin’s Lamp grooms cake.
Maria and Jamy – we loved the time we spent with you both through the year and meeting your amazing family and friends. Here’s to a wonderful beginning to your new family <3
THANK YOU to these wonderful Orlando Magazine Dream Wedding pros who are helping make Maria and Jamy’s wedding a Dream:
Jamy drew a picture of a ring for Maria and took it to a jeweler who made it for him. The middle stone in the ring is from Maria’s Mom’s engagement ring and one of the side stone’s is from Jamy’s grandmother’s engagement ring. The wedding bands are Jamy’s grandparents’ wedding bands.
Maria and Jamy’s First Dance was to “I See the Light,” a song from Disney’s movie Tangled, sung by them. Their sweetheart table centerpiece was the cake topper from Maria’s parent’s wedding cake
Elise and Ryan are so sweet with each and so fun to hang out with – we were friends right away. We had a lot of fun running around downtown Orlando for thier engagment shoot! Here are some of our favorites…
We are so happy to be a part of the Orlando Wedding Magazine and Mission Inn Resort Dream Wedding Giveaway! And we love the winners – Maria and Jamy. (See their winning video here) These are some of our favorites from their engagement shoot in St. Augustine. And Maria’s Dad took some fun video that day.

As soon as I met Sara I knew I would love to photograph her wedding, beautiful and sweet, she talked about Tim with a smile. Both are teachers, he a baseball coach and she an equestrian coach at a local academy – I loved their laid-back style. Such a fun night with lots of family and friends at the The Tap Room at Dubsdread. Thank you Sara and Tim for including us in your amazing evening!
Oriel and Brian’s wedding was one of a kind, just like they are. Her smile lit up the room – especially after Brian made her laugh, which was often. So elegant – black and white, with more orchids than you can count. Wonderful family that traveled far and best friends from Penn State days. We were so honored to be a part of it.Thank you Oriel and Brian for making us a part of your amazing wedding day.
We loved Tricia and Jonathan’s vintage, seaside wedding at The Hammock Dunes Resort that included lots of pink and blue, antique brooches and a candy ring-pop wedding ring. They had a big fun wedding party and wonderful friends and family there. So lucky to be able to see them all again at Tricia’s sister Stephanie’s wedding in September!
