Winter Park Florida Engagement Shoot | The Alfond Inn | Joy and Gabe
Joy and Gabe are a sweet California couple finishing their Chiropractic internship. We loved their passion, styling and the way they looked at each other. We had so much fun at Winter Park’s The Alfond Inn for their engagement session! We can’t wait for their Casa Feliz wedding next month.
From Joy: They met at Palmer College in January 2011 where they happened to sit next to each other. They always say be careful because you never know what might happen to the person you sit next to…
She said no…I don’t like you (even though they had gotten along so well). But what she didn’t know what was that he had already taken her heart.
She really meant YES and couldn’t hide from the fact that she was love struck. She took her place in his heart and showed him how much she cared for him.
So he showed her what his love was really about and that it could also come with a glass slipper.
So LOVE is…What they decided to share. Together forever… Just the two without a care…

Winter Park Engagement | Allison and Jed
Courtney and I had so much fun with Allison and Jed in Winter Park for their engagement shoot. Allison is a registered nurse at the mayo clinic in Jacksonville and Jed manages a travel center in Georgia. Together they love to travel, eat delicious food, drink craft beer, spend their Sundays watching the Jacksonville Jaguars (we scheduled this shoot around that) And in the summer spend the day in their pool. I asked them what they loved about each other: “We keep each other grounded. We are the perfect percentage similar personality and totally opposite… It’s amazing.”
We can’t wait for their Casa Marina wedding!

Oriel and Brian’s wedding was one of a kind, just like they are. Her smile lit up the room – especially after Brian made her laugh, which was often. So elegant – black and white, with more orchids than you can count. Wonderful family that traveled far and best friends from Penn State days. Mandy and Roger {Married} Downtown Orlando Ceviche Wedding
We liked Mandy and Roger right away – a very fun, loving and very steamy couple. (See their Engagment Session here.) Their wedding was stunning in romantic Spanish decor at Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant. The ceremony was so sweet, they were surrounded by loving family – including Roger’s two sons (just as handsome as their Dad…) and wrote their own vows. My favorite part was when Roger said, reading from his notes then looking deep into Mandy’s eyes, “I want to have babies with you…TONIGHT!”

Linh and Kris – Wedding Part One: East
I first met Linh at a photo shoot were she was doing her amazing make-up. We started talking about a project I was involved in – Help Portrait – and Linh wanted to be involved too. We became instant friends and since then have worked together many times. I love the way Linh does make-up and I love her infectious enthusiasm every time we do a shoot together.
When Linh approached me to photograph her weddings (yes – two weddings) I was honored and excited and couldn’t wait to meet her fiancé Kris. She explained that she wanted a traditional Vietnamese wedding with a formal tea and candle ceremony. The bride and groom, in front of all their guests, serve tea to their parents. Each parent then gives advice about marriage and family to the them. A candle ceremony will follow, symbolizing the joining of the bride and groom and the joining of the two families.
The next day we photographed their beautiful American wedding (don’t miss that blog post coming up!)
I think every bride should get to marry her man twice…
