A Beachfront Beauty: Mackenzie’s Senior Portraits in Cocoa Beach

A family vacation is a fabulous way to make new memories together, and it can also be a great opportunity for some senior portraits. As Florida photographers, we have the privilege of meeting people from all over the country (and the world) and helping them capture their memories in professional portraits, and one of our latest traveling clients was Mackenzie, who wanted her senior session taken in Cocoa Beach.
Mackenzie is an up-and-coming graduate from Kansas who was in Florida with her family for a vacation. What better way to get unique beachfront senior portraits than to take advantage of the opportunity while you’re in Florida?
We met up with this beautiful young athlete at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach. The park’s scenery allowed us to feature a variety of scenes and looks in Mackenzie’s portraits, from beachfront tranquility to greenery and flowers.
Mackenzie was a joy to work with throughout her session. She has a lovely smile and a fun personality, and capturing some of her laughter on camera was a fantastic treat.
We made sure to incorporate many different looks and types of portraits into Mackenzie’s photo session. From lighthearted smiles to dramatic looks fitting for a professional model, from head-and-shoulders portraits to zoomed-out shots of Mackenzie walking along the beach, we wanted to make sure she had photos with any look and feel she could want.
To add a bit of a rustic feel, we also found an old building on the beach that made a unique background. It created a slightly edgy and artsy look that was a perfect addition to Mackenzie’s gallery.
We’re excited for Mackenzie to continue on to graduation and the beginning of her next chapter in life, and we’re delighted that we were able to help her create lifelong mementos of this special time. A Young Adult in Bloom: Isabella’s Senior Portraits at Kraft Azalea Garden
As eclectic photographers, we know that you can create a fantastic photo shoot just about anywhere, but a beautiful location puts the icing on the cake. That’s why it was such a treat to meet up with lovely Isabella at the beautiful Kraft Azalea Garden in Winter Park.
Isabella is a sweet and smart senior who’s looking forward to graduating and beginning her path to adulthood. She’s an easygoing and relaxed teen, so to capture her casual vibe, we took many of her portraits in her signature look: jeans and a sweatshirt. To make sure we had some dressier portraits, though, Isabella donned a flowy sunflower dress that looked absolutely beautiful.
One of the most fun aspects of senior portraits is capturing elements of our client’s personalities in their photos. With Isabella, this was easy. We made sure to highlight one love of Isabella’s life in her senior photos: her adorable dog. This pup was so cuddly and fun, and we loved capturing some special bonding time between these two.
Isabella is a highly talented track star as well. We made sure to pay homage to her beloved sport by featuring her running shoes in her portraits. We’re sure that Isabella will continue to have many more accomplishments as an athlete, and these photos can be a treasured memento of this time in her journey.
Of course, we also couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take advantage of the gorgeous gardens around us. We created a variety of portraits among the vibrant flowers and trees, and Isabella looked like an absolute dream in the garden’s stone monument.

Every teen’s senior photo shoot should be an exciting, landmark experience to celebrate what is truly a life-changing part of their lives. They’re about to launch their adult lives! It’s an incredible time! What better way to make your senior photos truly memorable and unique than to have them taken at Disney?
That’s exactly what Lilly was going for. She’s a stunning and smiley cheerleader from Chicago who came to Disney for a vacation with her family, and I was thrilled to be able to create a fun and custom senior photo shoot for her in the gorgeous Magic Kingdom.
Lilly’s look for her senior portraits was so fitting for her personality. Her adorable white and peach sundresses complemented her bright and sunny spirit, and they were the perfect choice for the Magic Kingdom atmosphere.
We took full advantage of the park and all the glorious backgrounds it has to offer. The quaint storefronts created the perfect backdrop for Lilly, and I’m in love with the photos of her in front of the legendary Cinderella Castle. The adorable mouse ears and graduation cap combo was the icing on the cake! One of my favorite settings of Lilly’s entire session, though, was the lounge sofa in front of the Storybook Circus wall, where we were able to capture some striking dramatic photos.
I loved the amount of variety we managed to incorporate into Lilly’s senior photos. We have plenty of the classic head-and-shoulders senior portraits that show off her sweet and contagious smile, but there are also tons of photos of Lilly giggling and having a great time being herself.
