Mikaelah called me from West Virginia – she and her husband Brian were going to be in Florida for their 10 year wedding anniversary get-away and wanted to do a photo shoot to celebrate it. They always wanted to get married on the beach so this was a perfect time for her to get into her original wedding dress (wow) and have some fun and capture some beautiful images. I met Beth through her mother really – she was texting me from Connecticut for her daughter in Jupiter, trying to help her find a photographer for her wedding. I was in Sarasota visiting another bride that day and we texted most of the day, “Are you available that day? What do you think of Paradise Cove? What time would be a good time for the ceremony…?” Finally Beth and I met in person when she and her honey Jake met us Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Big Disney fans, we were friends right away, Beth and I talking wedding details and Courtney and Jake talking helicopters and airplanes. Thank you, you two for including us in your lives! We can’t wait for your wedding. xo
How they met in Beth’s words:“Jake and I met at work. We both saw each other across the room and kind of locked eyes and smiled. It took us a year after that moment to actually decide to date, but we always talk about that moment on my first day at work, locking eyes and smiling like… We knew it was something special.
The best thing we love about each other is that despite the age difference, we have so much in common and have both never had so much fun in our lives. We love our life together. He has allowed me to find a happiness that I didn’t know was possible.
ILY is short for I love you. My parents have said it to each other, written it on cards and letters for 45 years.. And we stole it from them. They are the happiest and most in love couple I know. It worked for them, I know it will work for us.”

We had so much fun at Joy and Gabe’s engagement session that we became friends right away. So of course we were quite excited for their Casa Feliz wedding! They are both chiropractors that planned their wedding while working, finishing school and graduating – all from California. Despite the rain, their wedding was beautiful – full of friends, family, Filipino traditions and their beloved Cocoa. Thank you Joy and Gabe or including us in such a wonderful night!

One of Central Florida’s most intriguing and popular fundraising events, the A&H’s Participation is an innovative sensory experience; one where artists turn tables into art installations and guests dine with the selected artist. Guests learn from the artist and create their own works of art in an evening of elegant dining, performances, and art, all in the beautiful setting of the A&H’s Maitland Art Center campus.

We are were so excited to photograph the first DeLand Springfest presented by Schley’s Bonsai and Supplies! This was a 3 day event showcasing Florida Bonsai Artists along with Bonsai classes with a Guest Artist. There were many types of Vendors, Live Music, Food Trucks, Auction Items and drinks. Event coordination by Courtney Ford Event Design
At Schley’s Bonsai & Supplies, skilled bonsai gardeners tend to the miniature branches of ficus trees, cultivating their artful lines and emerald-green foliage. They supply starter kits filled with tools and instructions for fledgling tree artists and lead classes at the shop where they demonstrate how to properly shape the foliage with shears, nippers, and wire cutters. In addition to instructional help, the gardeners purvey their trees and flowers, including elms, junipers, and azaleas, which, like an apologetic jack-in-the-box, spring from low, shallow vessels flush with colorful flowers. I am so in love with this Cocoa Beach Trash the Dress Photography shoot with Kim amd Royce! There was a tropical storm on the the night of their wedding. Their plans for a beautiful under-the-tent on the beach wedding went away with the wind! So we got together after for a fun run on Cocoa Beach “After the wedding”. No storms can keep these two apart.

I’ve known beautiful Mackenzie for a while, we are neighbors and we photographed her and twin sister Morgan’s senior portraits and senior prom. Now she is all grown up and graduating from Rollins College. I was so happy to sit and talk with her, experiencing her excitement about planning her wedding with Beau at the Cypress Grove Estate House. Courtney and I had a lot of fun spending time with them in Leu Gardens capturing their engagement shots. People in love are so easy to photograph <3

We had so much fun at the The 20th Annual Taste of Oviedo at the Oviedo Mall! The event features food, drinks, live entertainment, car show, a huge Kids’ area, the Citrus & Celery Cookoff plus other events for the whole family, including fireworks at the end of the day. Presented by the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber and Air Flow Heating and Air.
