Kareema and NahShon’s wedding was an impromptu elopement! We took some fun images in Dickson Azalea Park and Stardust coffee and Video, their favorite place to grab a coffee. Here are our Five Favorite Frames.

We were very excited to be a part of Tania and Axel’s wedding. We knew when we met for their engagement session that this couple were meant to be together and that their Casa Feliz wedding would be special. And it was. Family from far away and really great friends were there to celebrate with them and everything was perfect. Working with amazing wedding professionals and such a great couple made our jobs very easy that night! I love to hear what couples say about their wedding after it is all over so don’t miss their ideas and great advice for new couples planning a wedding below. xo
Wedding day color scheme:mostly creams and greens with pops of deep purple
Describe your wedding planning process: I let the style and architecture of the venue dictate the layout and the decor. We very early knew that we wanted a small wedding, and that we wanted everyone together for the reception, so that told us how many people we could invite. As far as the colors, Axel was going to wear a blue suit, and I found some pictures on Pintrest of weddings with the groom in blue. That’s when I found a bouquet that I loved and Lee made a version of that bouquet, but with his own artistic touch.
Describe your wedding day style in one sentence:the mood was relaxed and fun, even if the decor and the attire was elegant.
Most memorable moment during the planning process:Tania: telling my mother about the details of the wedding that I assumed she knew, but she didn’t and they made her very happy. Oh, and getting the marriage license. Axel: that we very early on agreed on a budget. Axel: the food tasting.
What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?Growing old together and having a partner that you can trust and love by your side.
Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos?Axel: when Tania was walking down the isle, pictures during the ceremony. Tania: Axel’s reaction when he first saw me, my dad’s face when he first saw me, Axel and I dancing and the posed pictures of us and the family.
What was your wedding inspiration? We wanted the wedding to be elegant, but not too fussy. We wanted our guests to feel as if they were coming to a special dinner party. We wanted the decor and the details to be personal and meaningful.
Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.Tania: I loved the garland, which was absolutely Lee Forrest. Axel and Tania: we spent time with the pastor so that the ceremony would be personal. We chose Pastor Mike because we wanted someone who knew us and had seen our journey in faith.
What advice would you give to future brides for their wedding day?Don’t try to do too much, and know your limits. I just wanted to be surrounded by a few very important people prior to the ceremony, and I set those limits with others. Also, a few beautiful details will be more memorable than ten hurried activities, etc. –be sure that you and your future husband are united in the approach and decisions. Everyone has an opinion, but yours as a couple is most important.
–spend enough time with your photographer and with your wedding planner to get to know them and be sure you like them. Personality is important and Kelly and Courtney were not only excellent, but also calming and so sweet. (Thank you Tania! That means a lot xo) –hire a planner, even if it’s just for the day. Cyndi was one of the main reasons why I was so relaxed that day.
–be sure to have as many hair and make up trials as you need to be sure that you’re happy with what you’ll look like on the day. This really helped me and Kitty understand what I was looking for, so the day of make up was perfect upon first application.
–be present in the day and take it all in, every second. Just roll with anything that happens– people won’t remember that part of it.

We loved Stacy and Steve’s elegant St. Augustine wedding at the River House with beautiful sapphire blue, cream and splashes of purple details. One of my favorite parts of the evening was when Stacy made her beautiful long wedding dress into an amazing short dress as a surprise for Steve right before their first dance! As advice to new brides, Stacy said, “Enjoy every minute of the day because it passes very quickly.” They wanted a fun celebration with their family and friends and that was exactly what they got – so many people there to share their joy. Courtney and I were so happy to be able to be apart of it!
The best thing about personal work is that it is all ours. We have only ourselves to please. We think it is so important for all artists to do work for themselves, we work so hard for others: make sure their portraits, weddings and designs are all what they want, perfectly done. We love what we do and take so much pride in our work. So now we are sharing some our more creative work. I wanted to try some moody black and white portraits and Courtney wanted to play with triple exposures and montage art. Thank you to our friend and fellow photographer – beautiful model Kaitlin. See her work here.

“One Chic Fête” was an incredible fusion of all things creative for one grand celebration. Over 40 local artists, musicians, fashion designers, and more, were highlighted throughout the evening mixed with cocktails and creativity. Courtney and I love all things art. We love to be a part of as many art-related events as possible and our own Orlando area events can be loads of fun. We were invited to attend One Chic Fete at Firestone Live by our friend, body paint artist Nix Herrera and his beautiful wife Becca. He had called me to do headshots for him a few months ago and we became admirers of each others work. It was great to see him at work and to meet so many interesting people and see some local talent that night. These are some images from our view.

I had so much fun taking images for the Giorgio Armani Neiman Marcus Orlando event. It starred celebrity face designer Tim Quinn who made an appearance for Armani Beauty. These lucky ladies got their make-up done by top-notch Armani face designers and met the celebrity makeup artist and National Director of Creative Artistry for Giorgio Armani as he presented the latest in cosmetics. Tim has worked with celebrities such as Glenn Close, Debra Messing, Kim Cattrall, Tara Reid, Gwen Stefani, Jordana Brewster, Kate Bosworth.

We loved Allison and Jed’s Vintage beach DIY wedding at the Casa Marina Hotel. Teal, seashells and starfish on a really rainy day. And Allison looked like a movie star. My best friend Pegi is the grooms step-mom – her family was all there and are dear friends which was so fun for us. Congratulations Allison and Jed! Thank you for including us on that wonderful day xo
I asked Allison to share some thoughts of her wedding day:
Describe your wedding day style in one sentence: Our wedding day was relaxed, vintage beach with a little bit if liquid sunshine on the side! Wedding day color scheme: Ombré teals and tan. Describe your wedding planning process: My entire wedding was DIY! From all decor to flowers to the music. All of it was done by Jed and I, with the help of our family! What advice would you give to future brides for their wedding day? Things will go wrong, people will show up late and see you before walking down the aisle! Take a deep breath and let it go! Enjoy every single moment, mistakes and all because it goes by so fast! Anything you would have done differently? Been a little more prepared for the rain! I didn’t have a plan B and wish I would have! Most memorable moment during the planning process: Spending an entire weekend with my mom and nana making all of the centerpieces, bouquets and wrapping up decoration ideas. We call it our “wedding weekend” (In February!) What are you most looking forward to as a married couple? Having our best friend by our side for life! Also, Starting our life together and hopefully starting our own family one day! Which moment are you the most excited to see in photos? The first look and the wedding party with umbrellas! What was your wedding inspiration? We love the beach, so having our wedding at a historical beachside hotel was perfect for us. We wanted our wedding to be relaxed, tropical and a memorable day for everyone! Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them. I love starfish! (Even have a tattoo of one!) my favorite details were the hundreds of starfish placed all around the reception! Another detail Jed and I worked hard on was our picture frame of our family and friends who have passed and were unable to come to the wedding. Having their pictures there reminded us of everyone who was watching from heaven!
